What is the entry fee for Bhutan?

Indian citizens do not require a visa to enter Bhutan; however, a Sustainable Development Fee (SDF) of INR 1,200 per person per day is applicable. This fee is exempt for children below 5 years of age, while children between 6 and 12 years are charged 50% of the SDF.

Can I take my own bike to Bhutan?

Yes, you can take your own motorbike to Bhutan, but certain permits and regulations must be followed. Indian citizens do not need a visa to enter Bhutan; however, both personal and vehicle permits are required to travel beyond Phuentsholing. You must obtain an entry permit from the Immigration Office in Phuentsholing and a separate vehicle permit for your motorbike.

Please note: If you plan to take your own bike, a cross-border green tax is applicable, which is approximately ₹4,500 per bike per day.
